Confession

I have a silly confession to make. One night a few weeks ago I was flipping through channels on t.v.  when I stumbled on this show called Glee. I started watching it just for kicks and now I am hooked. You would think that since I spend 40+ hours a week surrounded by high school students that I would never even consider watching this show for a second. But for some reason I am drawn to it. I guess it reminds me of my high school days. In high school I was super active in clubs and sports, but I have to admit that my favorite thing to do was sing in the show choir.  This show reminds of of that so much. The characters remind me of people in my choir. I see their faces when I watch this show. It brings back memories and emotions that I thought I had long forgotten. It makes me miss being young and carefree. It makes me miss those people who’s faces I see when I watch this show.  I love it. Seriously love it, even though I probably shouldn’t. 

So now that you know my secret please don’t judge me. We all have our guilty pleasures, right?

The Henderson Family

Saturday I had the privilege of photographing the Henderson’s.  It was a perfect day outside and it was so much fun hanging out with this family. Both Eric and Veronica serve in the United States Air Force. I am thankful for their service and honored at the chance to capture their family on camera.

Cooper Football: Part I

Happy Monday everyone! I hope today is a great day for you. As promised I have some more images from Friday’s Cooper varsity football game. I try very hard to go to various events at Cooper to support my students. So from time to time you will see some sporting events on this blog. I do admit that sports photography is not my strong suit. But I really enjoy trying to capture the action and the emotion behind each game. It is also fun to watch my students succeed, work hard, and do their best at something they love!

Cooper Football: Preview

Last night was Cooper’s homecoming and I had a front row seat. For those of you who don’t know me I am a HUGE football fan. It is probably the greatest sport ever! I love it. So when I get a chance to watch football and take pictures I am extremely happy. I have over 200 images from the game to review, but I am headed out of town and don’t have time to work on them yet.
