Last week I went home to Indiana to meet my new “niece” and spend time with my best friend. Let me explain the relationship. My best friend Dawn married my cousin Tim. They have a daughter who is 21 months and just had another baby on March 24th. Both girls reference me as aunt Nay Nay even though they are actually my second cousins. Confusing enough for you? We think being an aunt is so much more personal than a second cousin.
I got to spend five days with Izzy, Grace and my best friend. It was such a relaxing time. Izzy is getting so big. And she talks so well. My heart just melts when she says “hi nay nay.” And miss Grace is such a beautiful baby. I fell in love with her at first sight. I love both these girls so much and enjoy every minute I get to spend with them.

Dawn Arnold - Isabell really misses you to nay-nay..she keeps going to the door randomly and saying, “bye bye, nay nay” and waving… She can’t seem to get it out of her head. (Her mom understands her sadness, too)
Susie - I love the pictures of the girls. I especially love the one that focuses on Izzy’s toes while she is reading. It’s priceless!!!
