Israel 2010: Day 7 Again

Good morning friends! Its 7:19am in Israel and I am excited about what today has in store. We are heading to the Holocaust Museum to start our day. Then we will head downtown to the old city to visit the tunnels under the Western Wall. All and all today shall be a pretty powerful day. Please continue to pray for our team members and for the people of Israel. Everyone here is so excited that you all are partnering with us. It has been a blessing!

Since I was not able to post very many images yesterday I want to do another post for day 7.  Below you will see images from the Banias waterfall reference in Psalam 42:1-7.  Next we visited Caesarea Phillipi were temples had been built around a cave which was known as the “gates of Hades.” Matthew 16 directly references this place.  Jesus stood on the hills overlooking this city and ask His disiples, “Who do you say that I am?” In the midst of temples with pagan gods Jesus asked them this ever important question. How powerful it was to sit in that location and read what the Lord said in that very place.  Last, we ventured up the mountains even further to see the Nimrod Fortress. The views were incredible. It was a great day!
