This year was by far one of the most fun Christmas mornings I have ever had. We woke to a beautiful Christmas tree surrounded by tons of presents.
My parents, two brothers, Andy and myself enjoyed a special morning of exchanging gifts. I am always so thankful when we can all be together.
After all the gifts had been given my mom and dad pull out surprise presents that were not under the tree. We all unwrap them at the same time to find huge Nerf guns. Each member of the family had a gun to use. Good thing too because for the next hour you needed one to be able to survive in the first ever Scott Family Nerf Gun War! Everyone loaded their guns and ran around the house to find their hiding place. After the first shot was fired the game was on and it was every man for himself. But don’t take my word for it, see if for yourself!

And after it was all said and done we were all exhausted and the house was littered with nerf darts that my parents will be stumbling upon for months. Even though it is not your traditional Christmas morning activities I have to say it was one of the most memorable. And oh so much fun. Thanks mom and dad for always wanting to spread joy and finding pleasure in the simple things in life. This was a Christmas that I will always cherish.
