Meet the Scaglione family: Sarah, Frank, Abby, and Jake. Both Sarah and Frank are in the Air Force, which I think is pretty amazing. I am always impressed when both parents are serving our country. Sarah contacted me a few weeks ago and really wanted a outdoor family session. We both decided the best way to beat this Texas heat was to start their shoot early in the morning. So we met at 7:30 am when the temperature was only 85 degrees. Shooting this early is a photographer’s dream because the light is always so beautiful in the morning.
The session itself was dreamy too. Sweet couple + awesome kids = greatness. I was so impressed with how well Abby (2) and Jake (1) did during this shoot. They were both so easy to work with and did really well during our hour and half photo shoot. Very impressive for little ones.
The light in the photos below is just perfect. Wish I could shoot at 7:30 all the time.

Erin - Haha just had to post-My Abby (3.5) was looking at these photos with me and saw the one of Abby with her “pout” face. And then she said “She looks grumpy!” Kids kill me!
