I have been super busy trying to get things ready for school that I have not been able to work on my photos from Israel. I still have so many to share with you. So before I leave for work today I thought I would give you a little sample. This is a shot of me at the Southern Gates in Jerusalem. This is the area visited by all travelers coming to visit the temple back in Jesus’ time. They would have come to this area to exchange money, to buy sacrifices, to shop, and to purify themselves before entering the gates of the temple. I loved this place because I felt like I was right there with Jesus 2000 + years ago. Jesus and his disciplines walked here. They stood in the very same place that I stood. That’s why I had to take this picture.
