Clean Eating Challenge Results

I finished my first week of my own personal clean eating challenge! And I am super pumped to announce that I SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED MY FIRST WEEK! For one week I did not eat any processed foods. That means no crackers, chips, cookies, or anything else that comes in a package and can live in your pantry for months. Instead I ate fish and chicken, fresh veggies, eggs and oatmeal. It was easy that’s for sure. I survived several temptations such as cookies at work and cheesecake made by the best cook I know. Even though it was tough I am so glad I did it. I just feel so much better, even after one week! Another perk is that I lost 6 pounds! YEAH!

I ate clean during the day yesterday and then had a cheat meal for dinner. I plan to try another week of clean eating starting today. Feel free to join me. It may seem impossible, but God gives us strength in every aspect of our lives. Even with something that seems as silly as resisting bad foods.  It is not silly. It is a challenge! Are you up for it?
