I have been talking about this for some time on facebook and amoung friends, but I don’t think I have made the annoucment official. So here it is, the big big news.
Starting June 4th I am stepping down from teaching and will be doing photography FULLTIME!!!
My husband and I have been talking and praying about this for a while now and we both feel that this is the best decision for our family and the direction the Lord is leading us. I have really enjoyed teaching for the past few years. God has really shown himself to me in that area of my life. I never ever thought I would be a teacher, but I know for certain that He designed me to teach in the classroom for a season of my life. And perhaps one day He will place me there again. For now I believe that He is calling me to do other things and teach in other areas. I am not really even sure what all that entails, but I trust His leading and I am excited about the future. I look forward to starting this new book of my life. I believe it is too big to call just a chapter. It’s a book, and the first page is just being written for me, but the Lord knows the ending and will faithfully lead me there.
I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to stay home with our new baby and focus on our young business. These are two areas of my life that I am not an expert in by any means. I have never raise a child before and running a business has been definately a learning experience. But I am ready for the challenge and look forward to the day that I can look back and testify on the God’s provisions and faithfulness. He is faithful and gives good gifts to His children. I believe He is giving me good gifts and I am truly thankful.
