Yesterday I promised you a sneak peak at some concepts for my new logo and today this post is going to do just that. Let me first give you the back story. For months I have been contacting graphic designers across the country trying to find someone I wanted to hire to design the new RBP logo. I was having a tough time finding someone that I thought would understand what I wanted. Honestly, I was also struggling to find someone good in my price range. Thankfully I found an awesome site called Logo Tournament (http://logotournament NULL.com/). My dear friend (http://fitoriblog NULL.com/)Tori (http://fitoriblog NULL.com/) was having a Facebook conversation with one of her friends about logos. I ease dropped on their conversation and that’s how I found this site. Gotta love FB.
Here is the gist of how Logo Tournament works. Any company, business, or person can create a contest to get a logo made. You begin by filling out a detailed bio sheet to help designers understand what you are looking for. Then your start a contest where designers from all over the world create logos for you. You get to preview the logos and comment on them. Designers make changes and do what they can to win your logo competition. After 5 or 7 days the contest closes and you choose a winner, thus your new logo. It is a great way to get lots to choose from. And the great thing is you name your price. The starting cost is $250, but you have the option to pay more. I believe the benefit of paying more is that more designers will enter your contest. They would rather work for $500 than $250. But you can still get lots of options at the lower range. So if you need a good logo and want lots of options to choose from I would suggest this site.
My contest is currently in full swing. AND it is addicting. Every hour or so I will check it and a new design will be up. I currently have over 100 logo designs already. This is going to be a tough decision.

That will take you to this page below. All you do is look at the logos in the left hand column. Then drag your top 5 over to the middle column entitled “Ranked Logos.”
You can go back to this link and update your choices as many times as you like. Then neat thing is I can view your top 5. This really helps me. You can also leave comments on my top 5 in case you just absolutely hate it or think it reminds you of something that I am not seeing.
