During my maternity leave I still want to blog and stay connected. I initially created this blog so people could see my photography work and get to know me personally. So over the next few weeks most posts will be personal since I am not shooting any sessions for a bit. I hope that is ok with all of you. I am excited to share all the amazing things that I am learning about being a mom with all of you.
That brings me to an amazing product that Andy and I found at Babies R Us. We love it so much that I wanted to share it with all new moms and moms-to be.

I place it right next to my bed and it’s perfect because I can see down into it. I can also rock it while laying down if he is a bit fussy. We also like it because it is angled so he is not sleeping flat on his back. It’s a perfect size for any room and it folds down so you can take it anywhere. I often move it to the office and keep him right next to me while I work. We love this thing! I feel it works better than a bassinet or a pack and play for the reasons I mentioned above. It gives us a peace of mind at night which is so important for new parents. So if you haven’t found a solution for where your baby will sleep for the first few weeks I highly recommend this product!
