Project 53:4| Candid
One photo, with two smiling kids?
Never going to happen.
Guess we will just have to keep things candid for a season.
Can you see Eli running around in the background? I was trying so hard to get him to sit with Sawyer for a picture. But he wasn’t having it. As soon as I could get them placed and set my camera he was gone. I guess I need to make sure I have an assistant with me or just accept the fact that pictures will be less posed and more natural.
How do you get your older children to sit still for a photo? I really need some help in this area!

Tori [at] FIToriBLOG.com (http://fitoriblog NULL.com) - EVERY time I try to take photos of Samantha I think…this is why we need an assistant! It’s hard even at her age…I have no idea how I’ll get her to pose or sit still in a year! Oh brother!
Erin (http://wesanderin NULL.blogspot NULL.com) - They don’t have the the most creative backdrop, but I have some really great pictures of both girls (the big girls) when I make the sit together in a recliner or big chair. It’s more difficult for them to escape. Also if I say in a teasing voice, “I’m gonna get youuuu” I usually get both eyes on the camera and some pretty great natural smiles. Good luck!
Renee - OOHHH! Great idea. A place where they can escape. Thanks for sharing!
Renee - Yeah its really not easy to photography babies. When doing outdoor shoots with Eli, I’ve always taken someone with me to get him to look at the camera.
