Pray for Israel: We need you!

Dear Friends,

As most of you know I am leaving tomorrow on a mission trip with Beltway Park Baptist Church. A group of us will be spending 2 weeks in Israel. We are super excited for what God has in store.

We believe in the power of prayer! That is where you come in. Please consider praying each day for this mission. Everyday I will post a brief summary of what we are doing in Israel and include a few pray requests.  How amazing it would be if we could get 100 people praying together for this mission! 

So if you feel led please come back daily to partner with us in this ministry to Israel.

I have been a member of the prayer team the moment I knew about the wonderful mission trip to Israel. I know that GOD will keep you safe and that many lives will be changed because of your willingness to help others learn about GOD’s love.
I will keep the whole team in my prayers. I pray that my two awesome children, Renee and Dustin receive more from this mission trip then they ever thought possible.

One day until GO TIME!

Tomorrow is the big day! At 9:00am on Friday we will be meeting our team to begin our journey to Israel. I AM PUMPED. I hope to keep you posted while I am out of the country. I will be posting a daily prayer theme so that you can be involved in what God is doing in Israel.  On behalf of the team I want to thank you in advanced for your prayers!

Awesome Resource for New Business Owners

Today I had a meeting with Mark at SBDC of Abilene to advise me on the legalities of my young photography business. The Small Business Development Center (http://www NULL.ttusbdc NULL.org/abilene/) offers FREE counseling for peeps like me who are interested in starting a new business. Apparently most cities have an SBDC. I had never even heard of them before. We met for an hour and discussed steps I need to take to official establish my business. We discussed issues such as licensing, tax id number, sales tax permit, property tax, and much more. It was very informative and I actually learned a lot. I plan to go back there soon to begin working on a written Business Plan.

Donny & Rachel

While I was on vacation in Florida I had the opportunity to do a photo session with my good friend Donny and his wife Rachel. Donny and I have been friends since high school. It has been really great getting to know his wife. Rachel is such a sweet girl and I really enjoy her! 

This session was my first beach session and I loved it. I wish I lived near the ocean so I could do sessions there all the time! I don’t know about you, but I love the beach. I think it is fun and romantic. Ah! I can’t wait to get back to a beach. It really is one of my favorite places to be.

I had fun trying to capture the sunset. I know a couple of these are the same concept, but I like them.

7 days until Israel!

Oh I am so excited! Next Friday my youngest brother Dustin and I will be headed to Israel. We are going on a two week mission trip with my church Beltway Park.  (http://beltway NULL.org)

We have been planning and preparing for this for months and I can’t believe it is finally here. I am so honored that God would choose me to go and do His work in Israel. I know He has amazing things planned and I can’t wait to see God move in Israel, in the lives of His children there, and in the lives of the people on this mission team.  

We will spend a week facilitating a children’s camp. At that camp I will be assisting in teaching ESL. I have never done that before, but I look forward to seeing God work thru me. The second week we will be traveling around Israel to various sites. I am looking forward to seeing my Bible come to life before my eyes at such places as Jerusalem, and the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus’ tomb, Jordan River, and many other places. Oh I can hardly contain my excitement. When I get back I believe I will be blogging for days about this trip!

So if you would pray for the safety of this mission trip. Pray that God will use us to bring Him glory and honor. Pray that we would see His kingdom come in Israel.
