Israel: Day 6

Wednesday is here and today’s theme is “Following God’s Direction.”compass

I think this theme touches the heart of every follower of Yeshua. We want to know God’s direction for our lives. This is one of my strongest desires. I desire to be in God’s will. I want to be where He wants me. But why does it seem so difficult at times? There are times in my life when I know that I am in God’s will and I feel secure in that. Then there are other times that I can’t seem to hear Him and I lose my way. Am I the only one that struggles with this? Even though I struggle I continue to press on. I know God has a plan for my life. I believe if I am obedient and try to follow that plan that God will be faithful to direct me when I get lost.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray that the kids will be open to God’s direction and purpose.

2. Pray that everyone will be able to hear from the Lord in their personal walk with God.

3. Pray for a boldness to step out in faith when God is calling us in a direction that seems risky or that is unfamiliar.

I once heard someone say that we grow in our faith when we step out of our comfort zone. God help me to step out of my comfort zone!

Melissa Scott - Renee my darling sweet heart, today’s theme, “Following God’s Direction.”is a struggle that each and everyone of us have. The devil makes sure of that!!!!! Thank you for writing this testmony. I’m sure it touched alot of people’s heart and minds.
I know that I have struggle in following Yeshua’s directions. When I stop listening and I do not hear his voice I worry that I have lost my faith. But are Lord redirects us again and puts people and things in our lives that help us continue to know that our Lord will be forever faithful. I want to be obedient and follow in Yeshua’s direction. I pray each day that he gives me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and follow him always. Thank you for your obedience to Yeshua. God has a purpose for everything. I believe God’s purpose for you is to help others be redirected back to him by your testmony…. God Bless Love Alway MOM

Israel: Day 4

Happy Monday!

Today is the first day of camp. How exciting! Kids will be coming to hear about the good news of Yeshua. Our theme is “Army”. In Israel citizens are required to serve in the Israel Defense Forces for a period of between two and three years upon graduation for high school. This includes both young men and young women. So the concept of the army is very familiar to all of these kids.

Today’s focus is that Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew) is our Chief Officer.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray that the kids will begin to connect and make relationships with each other and the camp workers.

2. Pray that the Holy Spirit will teach all of us about God’s role as our “Chief Officer.”

3. Pray that God’s love would poor out of us and that no language barrier would be able to mask that!

4. Pray that we will all seek His face!

Thanks for your prayers!
