Melissa Scott - Hey Renee and Dustin.
Playing baseball seems like a great way to get to know the children better. You sound like you are having the time of your lives. God is moving in many ways. Grandma Scott has recovered from brain surgery and is home already. What a blessing.
You both are seeing Yeshua’s love first hand and it will change your life forever…What a blessing that is.. I love you both so much. I’m so proud of both of you.

My Heavenly Father I praise you for all that you do. Your mighty love changes peoples lives, you fill their hearts with peace and joy. Thank you Father for all that you do and will continue to do in these young childrens lives. Continue to give guidance and compassion to the mission team, May they spread your word like wild fire throughtout the camp. In the name of Jesus’, Amen

Israel: Day 6

Wednesday is here and today’s theme is “Following God’s Direction.”compass

I think this theme touches the heart of every follower of Yeshua. We want to know God’s direction for our lives. This is one of my strongest desires. I desire to be in God’s will. I want to be where He wants me. But why does it seem so difficult at times? There are times in my life when I know that I am in God’s will and I feel secure in that. Then there are other times that I can’t seem to hear Him and I lose my way. Am I the only one that struggles with this? Even though I struggle I continue to press on. I know God has a plan for my life. I believe if I am obedient and try to follow that plan that God will be faithful to direct me when I get lost.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray that the kids will be open to God’s direction and purpose.

2. Pray that everyone will be able to hear from the Lord in their personal walk with God.

3. Pray for a boldness to step out in faith when God is calling us in a direction that seems risky or that is unfamiliar.

I once heard someone say that we grow in our faith when we step out of our comfort zone. God help me to step out of my comfort zone!

I know that I have struggle in following Yeshua’s directions. When I stop listening and I do not hear his voice I worry that I have lost my faith. But are Lord redirects us again and puts people and things in our lives that help us continue to know that our Lord will be forever faithful. I want to be obedient and follow in Yeshua’s direction. I pray each day that he gives me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and follow him always. Thank you for your obedience to Yeshua. God has a purpose for everything. I believe God’s purpose for you is to help others be redirected back to him by your testmony…. God Bless Love Alway MOM

Israel: Day 5

Second day at camp is under way. Today our theme is ” Yeshua is our Healer.”first-aid1

What an awesome message to impart into the lives of these young ones. I am convinced that Jesus is our healer and that He DOES heal people today. It has been my prayer for a while now that I would be bold enough in my faith to pray for healing. I want see miracles. I want to be apart of a ministry where God heals people from illness and disease.  God please help my unbelief and fear of the unseen.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray that for an increase in faith for everyone at camp.

2. Pray that God will heal people today!

3. Pray that his children will be drawn to Him.

Israel: Day 4

Happy Monday!

Today is the first day of camp. How exciting! Kids will be coming to hear about the good news of Yeshua. Our theme is “Army”. In Israel citizens are required to serve in the Israel Defense Forces for a period of between two and three years upon graduation for high school. This includes both young men and young women. So the concept of the army is very familiar to all of these kids.

Today’s focus is that Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew) is our Chief Officer.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray that the kids will begin to connect and make relationships with each other and the camp workers.

2. Pray that the Holy Spirit will teach all of us about God’s role as our “Chief Officer.”

3. Pray that God’s love would poor out of us and that no language barrier would be able to mask that!

4. Pray that we will all seek His face!

Thanks for your prayers!
