A Year in Review

28 years old.

How did that happen so fast?

I spent my 27th year being pretty occupied with something very new.  It was a good year.  Let’s review some of my favorites moments.

-Found out I was pregnant with our first child.

-Andy took me to see the Nutcracker. I will always remember it as one of our last dates before our life as parents.

-Surprised our family with the great news at Christmas.

-Had a Nerf gun fight with my family on Christmas morning. So much fun.

-Went to the hospital for dehydration due to the lack of being about to keep foods downs.

– Drove to Tennessee to buy a new car. Drove home the next day in a huge snow storm.

-Got to see our baby

– Went to Israel for the second time. This time Andy went too.

-Got HUGE!

(http://reneebooephotography NULL.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/preggo NULL.png)– Finished my 3rd year of teaching and decided not to return for a season.

– Went home to Indiana for a few baby showers.

-Spent June and July resting in my baby pool.

-Met our son on July 22.

-Was blessed with visitors such as my parents, brother, Andy’s family, my best friend, her mom, and my lovely nieces.

– Went back to work. Not teaching, but photography. Became a full-time photographer.

– Went home in October to introduce everyone to Eli.

-Spent my days from July to November learning how to be a mom. And then, relearning. Once I had something figured out Elijah would change.

It has been an amazing year. I am blessed beyond measure and will always cherish my 27th year of life. It was such gift. I look forward to my 28th year. I have several goals that I would like to accomplish. But mostly I look forward to what the Lord has planned for me. The word that keeps playing in my mind over and over again is “AUTHENTIC”. I want to be authentic. I hope that this next year I can embody that word. With God’s grace perhaps I will at least get a little closer to doing so.
